Things to do in Los Angeles - Sunset Boulevard

Situated in the western part of Los Angeles, there is famed Boulevard of Broken Dreams, colloqually known as Sunset Boulevard.  The name of the very street is associated with the glamor of Tinseltown, not to mention its role to immortalize film celebrities.  The Hollywood Walk of Fame stretches for eighteen blocks along Hollywood Boulevard from Gower Street to La Brea Avenue and for three blocks along Vine Street from Sunset Boulevard to Yucca Street.  Apart from it, this one of the  main Los Angeles entertainment districts has lots of good restaurants, clubs including the House of Blues, a major comedy club, and so much more to see. It  is also the place where billboards can be extraordinarily entertaining. During sumertime the Sunset-Junction festival takes place here and provides diverse range of music- like alternative/modern rock, reggae, R&B, folk, latin and various ethnic world sounds. Also funky dancing  makes this festival particularly spirited. The Boulevard is occasionally referred to as “Guitar Row” because of  the large number of guitar stores and music industry-related businesses.  For example, the legendary recording studios like Sunset Sound Studios and United Western Recorders are located here. Additionally, many young musicians,  struggling actors,  or any other artists continue to live in the region.
